Sri Lankan Group Suspected of Easter Attacks Has Ties to Local Charity

A Sri Lankan group said to be behind multiple bombings in several cities on Easter Sunday has ties to a local charity, according to a Kharon investigation of social media networks.

The coordinated bombings, which tore through churches and luxury hotels across Sri Lanka, killed 290 people and injured hundreds more. No group has publicly claimed responsibility. The Sri Lankan government blocked access to social media and imposed a curfew in the wake of the attacks.
