This paper focuses on the challenges of managing sanctions-related risk along each step of the product supply chain, from customers and manufacturers, to suppliers and distributors, transport firms, and various project vendors. It also provides an overview of guidance from regulators in the United States, European Union, and the United Kingdom, as well as case studies that highlight how commercial supply chains can be exposed to networks that are subject to sanctions.
